Unlike in conventional fridges, the air humidity in a NoFrost fridge is permanently collected in a central chiller unit, which automatically defrosts on a frequent basis. The resulting condensation is simply channelled outside out of the fridge, where it then evaporates. This way, NoFrost permanently keeps your fridge free of not only ice, but also the need for manual defrosting.

In order to retain vitamins, nutritional value, appearance and flavour, food should be frozen as fast as possible. With the Automatic Super Freezing function you can freeze small food load faster whilst protecting your frozen items from defrosting. The freezer detects the temperature increase and automatically adjusts its temperature to guarantee the best storage conditions.

When the Holiday Mode function is activated, the temperature in the fridge section is approx. +14°C and in the freezer approx. −18°C, protecting frozen foods and preventing energy wastage in the fridge.

Even the slightest changes in ambient temperature, like direct sunlight, can affect conditions inside your fridge – and the freshness of your food. To prevent this, Fresh Sense monitors the temperature inside and outside of the fridge, to sense when the surrounding conditions change. If a change is detected, the system immediately takes action to ensure your food stays fresh.
